Pillanallur Town Panchayat is a First Grade Town Panchayat. It consists 15 wards with 11181 66Population as per 2011 censes. The area of Town Panchayat is 4.66 Sq.km. The Town Panchayat maintains 33.568 km length of road. Pillanallur Town Panchayat situated in the West 3 Kilometer from Kashmir to Kannyakumari N.H. 7 Road. It is located at a distance of 7 Kilometres West from Rasipuram – 29 Kilometres South from Namakkal and 29 Kilometres North from salem city. Pillanallur Town has a rich Historical and cultural heritage. The history bears the famous temple of Sivasubramaniyar Kovil. பிள்ளாநலலூர் பேரூராட்சியானது நாமக்கல் மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள ஒரு முதல்நிலை பேரூராட்சியாகும். இப்பேரூராட்சி 2011 மக்கள் தொகையின் படி 11181 ஆகும். இது 15 வார்டுகளை உள்ளடக்கியது. இப்பேரூராட்சியின் பரப்பளஹவ 4.66 சதுரசிலோ மீட்டர் ஆகும். இப்பேரூராட்சி மூலம் பராமரிக்கப்படும் சாலையின் நீளம் 33.568 கிலோமீட்டர் ஆகும். இப்பேரூராட்சி விசைத்தறி மற்றும் நெசவுத் தொழில் மிகுந்த பகுதியாகும். நாமக்கல்லில் இருந்து 29 கிலோமீட்டர் தென் மற்றும் சேலத்திலிருந்து 29 கிலோமீட்டர் வடக்கு மற்றும் மேற்கு பகுதியில் இருந்து 7 கிலோமீட்டர் தொலைவில் உள்ளது. இப்பேரூராட்சி வரலாறு மற்றும் பண்பாட்டு மரபைக் கொண்டுள்ளதாகும்.
