Pappireddipatti is the Selection grade Town Panchayat in Dharmapuri District. The town is situated at a distance of about 50 Km from the district headquarters and Dharmapuri City Municipality Pappireddipatti is well connected to Salem – Thirupattur Road way of State Highways.
Pappireddipatti Town Panchayat is one of the major Town Panchayat and is classified as a Selection Grade Town Panchayat with 15 administrative wards having an area of 4.85 Sq.k.m. With a population of 9374 (2011 Census). SC–4739,ST-651 out of which 4726 and 4648 are male and female population respectively. The town primarily comprises residential, commercial, institutional. The agriculture product, Sugarcane in particular is largely grown in Pappireddipatti area. This is being transported from Pappireddipatti to Gopalapuram Sugar mill.
