 Pannaikadu is the place of god Rama. The view of Panniakadu from Murugan Temple is extraordinary. Kaaliamman temple is situated near a stream,whose goddess is believed to be very powerful. The temple is a very beautiful picnic spot too. People from Pannaikadu have migrated to places all around the world either for studies or for living. Banana, coffee, orange, jack and avacodo are mainly cultivated. Pannaikadu is a low level valley surrounded by mountains, which is a rare site in South India. The view from Murugan temple is so catchy but it is a pity very few tourists are attracted to this place. If one goes two km towards Thandikudi, which is a nearby village, one can see a place with minimum sunlight due to thick forest.The main occupation here is agriculture of crops like coffee and bananas. During British regime the last governor Sir Archibald Nye praised Pannaikadu as a modern village in the Madras state

It's a very good tourist place. There are so many places that are very popular over here like Moolaiyaru, Echo Rock, Murugan Temple, KaaliAmman temple, Ramar Temple, etc.

பண்ணைக்காடு மண்ணின் மகிமை. இராமபிரான் வடக்கிலிருந்து தெற்கு நோக்கி பயணித்த பொது, பல இடங்களில் தங்கி அந்தந்த இடங்களைப் புனிதப் படுத்தியுள்ளார். அப்படிப் புனிதப்படுத்திய தளங்களில் பன்னையம்பதியும் ஒன்று. அதனால் இங்கு வருடந்தோறும் இராம நவமி வெகு சிறப்பாக கொண்டாடப் படுகிறது. அதே போல் குன்று தோறும் முருகன் பழனியில் கால் வைக்கும் முன் தனது பாதங்களைப் பதித்த இடமும் பண்ணையம்பதிதான் இந்த ஊர் மக்கள் எங்கு சென்றாலும், எந்தத் துறையைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்தாலும் அதில் முழுமையாக ஈடுபட்டு உழைத்து புகழின் உச்சியைத் தொட்டு விடுகிறார்கள். இவர்கள் எங்கு வாழ்ந்தாலும் "பண்ணை" என்ற மண்ணை மறக்காமல் தங்கள் பெயருடனோ அல்லது தாங்கள் நடத்தும் நிறுவனத்துடனோ இணைத்து தாம் பிறந்த மண்ணுக்கு நன்றியை செலுத்துகிறார்கள்.
